Peer2Peer Support Network
The ALF, Illinois Chapter is constantly striving to offer the most support available to all of our members and residents of Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Iowa. As part of this initiative, we are organizing liver disease patients who are either in need of support or who can offer guidance to others through our Peer2Peer Support Network. Our goal is to pair patients and family members who have had various experiences with liver disease and are willing to share with individuals who are interested in learning about those experiences. We will match people who are interested in the following experiences: Live Donation If you are willing to share your experiences with live donation, transplantation, living with liver disease, or treatment, please fill out this form. If you are interested in learning about another's experience, All parties involved in the Peer2Peer Support Network are volunteers. No contact information will be provided unless authorized by the participating parties. The American Liver Foundation respects all individuals privacy and will not share information with outside parties.
Peer2Peer discussion participants are not medical professionals and these discussions do not constitute medical advice. The purpose of these discussions is to provide one on one support and share relevant experiences regarding liver health and diseases from a patient's perspective. Medical questions or concerns must be discussed with your physician. |
